Job Description of Bank Accountant:
• Creating the journal entries to the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers of all bank transactions.
• Strong understanding of intercompany related transactions.
• Reconciling ledger accounts and identifying and correcting errors.
• Entering and verifying the details of the financial transactions in the appropriate system or ledger.
• Ensuring compliance with the accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Data entry skills and high attention to detail.
• Have in-depth knowledge of VAT Law.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with Accounting Managers.
• Follow up on unposted payments batches through phone calls, emails.
• Regularly coordinate with treasury for getting the documents and find the un-booked payments.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
• Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, such as Microsoft Dynamics D365.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Accounting /Intercompany processes. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to VAT and withholding tax.
