Job Description:

Buyer, required for a company in Saudi Arabia.

– Coordinates all purchasing activities including research, identifying and evaluating vendors for pricing and quality.
– Documents all purchasing decisions and completes purchase orders.
– Cumulates material requirements across departments in coordination with end user representative.
– Prepare RFP’s, RFQ’s, coordinating bidding process, receiving quotes, tender opening, Purchase order management, etc. are key responsibilities.
– Complies purchasing information, making comparisons regarding suppliers’ credentials and offers and verifies the accuracy of billing data.
– Oversees centralized procurement / purchasing (across all subsidiaries) to ensure best negotiated deals.
– Monitors market activities to identify vendors best suited as per business requirements.
– Maintains and manages delivery of materials to various locations as per requirements and avoid delays.
– Prepares standardized contract policies as proposed by the management.
– Seeks approval of authorized management.
– Escalates disputes in contract execution with the legal team & management.
– Strong Focus on cost, transport cost, considering bulk discount and detailed specification of each material.
– Ensure that the purchase orders and related documents for centralized purchases are completed accurately and in compliance with company processes, procedures and requirements.
– BS in material management or BA Degree or equivalent.
– Minimum of Three years experience in procurement/purchasing or supply chain management.
– V-good practice with MS Office (Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel, etc.).
– Experience in ERP (oracle) purchasing function is preferable.
– Excellent command English and Arabic languages.
– Negotiation skills.
