We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of all facilities within a residential compound. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and capable of resolving maintenance issues efficiently. This individual must have strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively in English, and a problem-solving mindset to quickly address any technical issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff.
Diagnose and resolve issues with compound appliances, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ensure all maintenance requests are handled promptly and professionally.
Coordinate and schedule repairs or bring in qualified external contractors when needed.
Maintain inventory of maintenance tools and equipment.
Inspect and maintain the overall condition of the compound, ensuring everything operates smoothly.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents regarding any maintenance-related concerns.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role, preferably in a residential compound or facility management setting.
Strong problem-solving abilities – able to identify issues and implement solutions efficiently.
Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).
Good technical knowledge of appliances, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
