We are looking for an experienced Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and cleaning of a residential compound. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team, assigning tasks, and ensuring all operational aspects are running smoothly. This role requires someone with strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot problems efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and maintenance across the compound.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the residential compound, ensuring maintenance, cleaning, and other operational tasks are completed efficiently.
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance and cleaning staff, assigning tasks and ensuring all duties are carried out in a timely manner.
Handle any maintenance issues that arise, ensuring repairs are performed or coordinated with external contractors as needed.
Ensure the compound’s facilities, appliances, and infrastructure are maintained in good working condition.
Implement and enforce safety standards for the team and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and cleaning, and reorder as necessary.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, order, and safety standards are met.
Communicate effectively with residents to address any concerns or issues related to operations, maintenance, or cleanliness.
Prepare reports on team performance, maintenance schedules, and any issues requiring attention.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Supervisor in a similar role, preferably in a residential compound or facility management.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Knowledge of cleaning protocols and managing cleanliness within a large residential complex.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address issues promptly and effectively.
Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or supervisory certifications are a plus.
