PEGA Administrator Job Description
 Identification:
Job Title: PEGA Administrator
Primary Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
 Roles and Responsibilities:
o Installing, administrating, and performance tuning Pega PRPC.
o Apache Tomcat Administration.
o Analyzing all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommending modifications that will
enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability.
o Participating in installation, configuration, upgrading, and patching activities.
o Providing ongoing administration support for various middleware components.
o Assisting in manual application code deployments.
o Conducting performance tuning to maintain system stability.
o Responsible for systems performance and resolution of production outages
o Perform triage on issues to identify root cause and provide the solution.
o Create and publish support documentation
o Running daily reports on the health of the applications
o Management of scheduled job processes
 Essential Knowledge and Skills:
o 5+ Years of Experience in Pega PRPC 7.x with detailed knowledge of design and implementation.
o Pega PRPC Senior System Architect Certification a plus
o Working knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies, including JSP, Servlets.
o Working Knowledge with the Apache Tomcat, Web services, and AJAX (jQuery a plus).
o Strong familiarity with database systems and programming, including Oracle, MS SQL Server,
MySQL, PL/SQL, and/or Transact-SQL
o Provide focus in collaborative problem solving-identify key technical issues and provide
perspective when required
o Perform other duties as assigned.
o Excellent understanding of the software development process, including requirements analysis,
testing and deployment
o Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
o Requires ability to multitask and be responsive to small support issues while working on larger
projects
 Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or equivalent.
o 5+ years’ experience on the above mentioned skills.
 Hours:
Division: Development Department
o Full time (40 hours per week)
o Sunday through Thursday. In rare certain circumstances, work in weekends might be required.
