Job Description:
Person is responsible for estimation and design of all projects pertaining office furniture division aiming to maximize company’s gross profit through satisfying customers with designs.
Make drawings for plumbing points and electricity points inside the kitchen and visiting the site and taking as-built measurements and make sure the status of the site.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Finding out what the client wants.
• Planning jobs timescales (work period, quote presentation time).
• Organized approach to work and the ability to meet deadlines.
• To progress sales enquiries and tenders, and to establish customers requirements in conjunction with the Project Mangers.
• To design any number office and residential furniture any other integrated as specified within the Company’s scope of work based upon customer requirements, specifications, drawings and current standards.
• Helping with bids for new Tenders, contracts and supporting buying activities.
• Monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecasts.
• Collecting quotes from materials suppliers and sub-contractors.
• To prepare and submit proposals, quotations and tender documents for the projects.
• To ensure that the content of all quotations and design is conforming with the required specs.
• Specifications are to be compatible with the requirements of the consultants, and the technical specification of the tenders.
• To ensure adherence to all Company policies – including those for quality, high performance and customer satisfaction.
• To take an active role within the continuous improvement of Company Systems.
• To provide reports as appropriate to the directors of the line manager.
• To carry out any other job specific duties as deemed appropriate by the directors of the Company.
• Ability to work as part of a team and work closely with other professionals including construction managers, engineers and buyers.
• Deep understanding of the importance of data confidentiality.
• Analyzing company data, exchange rates and prices, using software packages.
• Supervising Showroom Products and display.
• Monitoring and re-ordering of approved stock items.
• Keeping Catalogs and Samples from all suppliers available in Department Library.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in relative position.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Interior Design.
• Excellent math and IT skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Microsoft Office Suite
