Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and modify the accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
• Analyze past and current trends in KPIs to enable accurate financial planning and decision making.
• Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Develop and maintain financial and accounting policies and procedures are aligned with company’s strategies and standards.
• Supervise timely preparation of the financial statements and coordinates with relevant spoke person.
• Build, lead and manage a team of accountants.
• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Close supervision of all day to day and periodic Finance related process and reconciliations such as A/R, A/P, inventory, cash & bank and Payroll.
• Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis
• Smooth month end closing and reporting within the agreed timetable.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
• Liaison with Bank on day to day basis, Handle Bank Guarantees, Reconciliations and provisions
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Follow accounting manual and adhere to the requirements whilst building up accounts.
• Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying accounting judgment.
• Work with internal and external auditing services.
• Advise employees in areas such as approval, payable and receivable processes, design of accounting and data processing systems, and long-range tax plans.
• Work Inter/Intra department/companies to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
• Review records and provide necessary adjustments based on information acquired.
• Establish and maintain effective and efficient books of records.
• Generates reports and responds to inquiries.
• Contributes to a team effort.
• Carry out multiple tasks and meet deadlines strict Month end closing deadlines.
• Collaborates with the other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
Skills Requirements:
• Communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in written English/Arabic.
• Ability to operate ERP software.
• Excellent MS office Skills (Advance Excel, Word and Power point).
• Good knowledge of GAAP, IFRSs and IASs.
• Managerial skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Forecasting skills.
• Communication skills.
• Decision-Making.

Qualifications – Experiences:
• Must be Graduate or Post Graduate in Accounting or Finance.
• Min 8-10 year’s relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly in construction industry.
• Experience in concrete manufacturing companies would be an edge on other candidates.
