Mechanical Engineer (Firefighting stream experience).
Design and implementation of Fire protection systems & Fire Safety for applications (residential, commercial, public buildings and industrial applications)
• Preparation and design of Fire Fighting system, accordance to the regulations of saudi civil defence and international codes [ NFPA , GCC , SBC , IFC].
• Design of Fire Suppression Systems:
• Design sprinkler systems (wet system, dry system and pre-action and deluge system).
• Gas systems design (CO2 , FM 200 , Halon …. etc)
• Standpipe and Hose Systems (Class I, Class II, Class III).
• Chemical Extinguishing Systems (portable Fire Extinguisher, Gas system)
• Foam systems Design.
• Hydraulic calculations.
• Pipe Schedule & sizing (Main line, Cross line, Riser, Branch line).
• Water demand and tank calculation.
• Fire pump specifications and Selection.
• inspection and testing of materials and equipment based on project specification, applicable codes and standards.
• Review all design drawing to meet the company’s quality standard.
• Mechanical equipment schedule.
• Design of smoke management systems (Stairwell Pressurization Systems + Exhust system , atrium ,corridors, basment …etc)
• Preparation of technical reports (safety reports) for the commercial , public and industrial buildings.
• Supervise the implementation of FireFighting works, in accordance with approved shop
drawings.
• Executes and manages all installation activities and taking into consideration the efficient utilization of manpower, machines, materials and time.
• receipt Fire Fighting works in projects and delivery to the consultant.
• Monitors the progress of the project being executed including the review of the actual result against the plan with the objective of coming up with all necessary courses of action.
• Conduct daily briefing with site team leaders to follow-up and report on the work progress to anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasks.
• Take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to finish the task in due time.
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
• Provide engineering consultancy in the field of (Fire Protection & Fire Safety).
Fire Fighting technician (Fire fighting & Fire Alarm installation Read Drawing testing & commissioning)
Experience 3-5 years is must.
Transferable iqama is required.
