My client, a well-known multi national bank is seeking a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager for their dynamic team in Jeddah. The candidate’s primary role is to manage fixed income funds and discretionary portfolios according to investment guidelines.
Working in a team environment to assess new investment opportunities based on a strong credit-oriented fundamental research process, the candidate would also work with stakeholders to enhance, develop and launch products, and conduct
research and analysis as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Perform credit analysis for and monitoring of funds and discretionary portfolio holdings
• Provide Wealth Managers with updates on markets, funds, portfolios to support the growth of existing products, and develop proposals to address client needs
• Work with Risk Management to contribute to the development of the general risk management policies, limits, guidelines, frameworks and addressing any guideline breaches
• Develop security-level risk and return analysis, monitor market and economic developments and make trading decisions consistent with the investment process and portfolio guidelines Develop, analyze and source new and secondary investment opportunities, primarily in the sukuk market, and work closely with other members of the team to
participate in the active management of fixed income portfolios
Requirements:
• CFA designation is desirable
• At least 5+ years of direct fixed income investment experience
• Must possess relevant experience in managing GCC credit or sukuk portfolios across different strategies and have the ability to work as a part of a team towards individual or shared goals
• The successful candidate would also have good analytic skills, both qualitative and quantitative such as financial modeling Must be a GCC national
