Job Description:
SharePoint Developer, required for a company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
– Architect, develop and deploy technical solutions to needs identified internally and by business units using SharePoint and its related services.
– Understand and translate user interface and business requirements into implementation plan.
– Participate in design reviews with Business Analyst and Infrastructure to ensure the design will meet business requirements.
– Create custom Web Parts and Controlsfor required site elements using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net.
– Ensure and manage platform scalability.
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
– Train key stakeholders on updating content.
– Identify new content areas.
– Consulting on and designing, developing and deploying Intranet/Extranet solutions and integrating custom applications.
Required Skills:
– Minimum 4 years experience with SharePoint Portal Server (Architecture, Planning, Designing, Developing, Testing & Installation).
– SharePoint Portal 2013.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially in conjunction with SharePoint interactivity.
– Website front end technologies such as XHTML, AJAX, Javascript, CSS, etc.
– Ability to develop web services and custom web parts.
– Ability to create a secure portal for Extranet clients.
– Ability to use .Net, VB, ASP, WSS where applicable.
– Ability to create connections to external data sources using SQL and display information in a Web part using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net where applicable.
– Microsoft certification (MCAD, MCPD, MCTS) a plus.
