Job Description:
Quality Control Engineer, required for a company in Saudi Arabia.
– Goods inward inspection of pipes, valves and fittings and at local suppliers.
– Good knowledge of Aramco quality requirements and specifications.
– Check and sign off material test certificates (MTC`s) for stock and overseas materials.
– In-process inspection to ensure color coding and marking requirements are met.
– Liaise with customer Third Party Inspectors (TPI`s) for inspection of material and certificates.
– Calibration of pressure gauges and other measuring equipment.
– Investigate customer complaints and damaged materials when required.
– Raise and close out Non Conformance Reports.
– Candidates should be an Engineering Graduate, with 2 years experience in a similar role.
– Non-graduates may also apply, but require 3-4 years experience.
– Valves, piping or pressure equipment background is desirable.
– Full hands-on training and support will be provided ensure the candidate is fully effective in the role.
– Excellent written and conversational skills in English are essential.
– By demonstration a mature and constructive attitude, the candidate could target a quality Manager evolution on a medium term.
