Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the accounts receivable of the finance department. The role will include assistance with day to day transactional processing in to the key systems operated by the company, along with ad hoc reporting requirements.
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Calculate and post receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts and verify details of transactions, such as funds received and total account balances
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales
