A fast food restaurant chain needs a Purchasing Manager.
His main TASKS would be:
• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Attend meetings and trade conferences
• Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service/goods provided
• Keep contract files and use them as reference for the future
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
• Work with warehouse to develop and improve system to manage and control orders & quantities
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
• Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings targets are met or exceeded
Important REQUIREMENTS in candidates:
– At least 5 years experience in purchasing (preferably in the food industry)
– Can speak Arabic & English
– Confident and dynamic personality
– Transferable iqama
– Driving licence
