Procurement Buyer
Services Procurement Buyer to work in the Procurement Department.
Duty & Responsibilities:
– Administers bidding process for vendor performance/compliance (e.g. prepare specifications, evaluate bids, recommend vendors, etc.) for the purpose of securing items and/or services within budget and in compliance with the Laws and Regulations of Saudi Arabia.
– Assists engineering, construction and for the purpose of providing information and facilitating purchasing process. Compiles data from a wide variety of sources for the purpose of analyzing issues, ensuring compliance with various policies and procedures.
– Conducts sealed bid openings as required for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established policies.
– Executes various assignments to procure equipment, materials, goods, and services for the purpose of supporting the Projects requirements.
– Maintains active bidders source file for the purpose of providing current and accurate information as needed.
– Participates in meetings, workshops and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
– Processes documents and materials (e.g. bid specifications, information to bidders, general provisions, special provisions, etc.) for the purpose of distributing information and/or acquiring resources to support GES+ Projects in conformance with established guidelines.
– Responds to inquiries for the purpose of resolving issues or referring to appropriate parties.
– Prepares or provides technical guidance for a professional analysis or development of bid responses, negotiation offers and counter offers.
– Prepares Company Estimates or works with the Company estimating functions in the preparation of Estimates.
– Negotiates with bidders as part of a negotiating team comprised of Procurement and Client.
– Resolve customer services issues, concerns and escalates issues as needed.
– Maintain a positive image of the company with our customers, while demonstrating high standards of business ethics and integrity.
– Act within the scope of authority and remain consistent with company’s objectives, guidelines, policies and practices.
– Ability to work with a positive approach when engaging both internal and external clients.
– Be responsive to requests from the management product non-conformances, POs expedite requests, etc.
– Monitor Open PO report, proactively identify and address possible delivery expedite issues.
– Execute or escalate logistics of purchases, including having product delivered to the correct locations while meeting EH&S requirements.
– Provide excellent customer service support and timely responses to clients with requests and inquiries.
– Perform other duties as assigned.
– Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Engineering discipline.
– Experience between 7-9 years is a must in their same field.
