Job Scope
Resident Engineer (Mechanical)
The resident Engineer performs daily on going monitoring (BMS) and planned maintenance activities to all electrical and mechanical infrastructure equipment that make up the data center environment.
Experience
• Have minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in data center operations and management related to electro mechanic equipment.
• Have significant experience in electrical and mechanical data center equipment.
• Is familiar with data center power and cooling systems performance requirements.
• Thorough & detailed knowledge about the standards, Procedures & Policies (SOPs,MOPs,EOPs) for the critical facility equipment.
• Awareness for adhering to and implementing all facility policies and procedures related to his
Work.
• Knowledge for developing all MoPs for all (minor) preventive maintenance activities according to vendors/OEM Operation Manuals.
Qualification : BSC Elect/Mech Engineering
• Ability to understand the complete maintenance program for all the installed base for a datacenter given below
• Safety & health policies.
• Standards for the maintenance activities.
• Theoretical knowledge about all electro mechanic equipment.
• Preparing reports of different kinds whenever needed
• Power Point Presentation skills .
• Power capacity calculation & tracking.
• Awareness about maintence & monitoring tools like BMS,WFMS,DC NOC etc.
• Fast response in case of faults.
• Ability to lead the team following best practices in all circumstances in a profession way.
• Ability to work under pressure for the critical tasks on need basis.
