Job Description:
We are world class oil and gas drilling services company providing safe, efficient and cost effective drilling services to some of the best international oil and gas companies. For our ambitious expansion
plans, we are currently looking to hire Senior Internal Auditor.
Reporting to Chief Internal Auditor, the individual shall assess the overall internal controls and the degree of risk faced by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform activities identified for audit coverage in accordance with internal audit plan.
– Execute audit programs ensuring adequate audit coverage of identified audit risks.
– Perform audit field work to ensure effective utilization of audit program.
– Prepare internal audit reports with recommendations for improvement of the internal controls for further higher level review.
– Discuss and finalize the audit findings and recommendations with the process owners.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
– ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified professional with Finance / Accounting degree from recognized university.
– Minimum five to seven years post graduate experience, preferably in an oil and gas sector company.
– Big four professional services firms experience preferred.
Job-Specification Skills:
– Knowledge of auditing concepts and principles.
– Knowledge of current technological developments / trends in auditing and accounting.
– Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare clear and concise reports.
– Ability to perform control reviews in all areas of business.
– Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
