JOB DESCRIPTION
OT/ICS (Operational Technology / Industrial control System) Network Technician for Saudi Arabia -Jubail location
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Working with a cybersecurity assessment team to catalogue inventory, access network device configurations and performing configuration reviews
• Provide networking relevant feedback to assessment team members
• Provide comments on network architecture designs
• Liaise with end user’s IT/OT support teams to locate and review configurations of a large number of network devices
• Network troubleshooting and optimization analysis
• Maintenance of network monitoring, analysis and reporting tools
QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma or Engineering Graduate preferably in Electronics, communication or computer science
• At least 3+ years of experience in Networking & Security
• Have obtained minimum CCNA, CCNP a plus or equivalent experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and under own initiative for assigned tasks
EXPERIENCE
• Active in a supporting role in the domain of OT (Operational Technology) Industrial Control Systems and Process Control Networks.
• Firm understanding and experience of the following technologies: ARP tables, IP Protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP); IP filtering and firewalling; Ethernet (STP, RSTP, .1q VLANs).
• Proven experience in deploying and supporting network services in a large and complex environment
• Knowledge and experience troubleshooting the life of a packet from client to server and back (and all possible intermediate nodes along the way)
• Proven experience with monitoring tools (Solarwinds a plus)
• Experience of security monitoring and operations of a process control network.
