Maintenance Engineer
Position Overview
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintenance and repair of all electrical, mechanical systems of Al Rushaid Real Estate, works in conjunction with the Property Architect when applicable and reports to the Maintenance Manager and will assist the Maintenance Manager in communicating and enforcing all company policies and procedures.
Candidate Profile
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Engineer on property or facility management field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) with good standing and Licensed is preferred.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Strong technical knowledge of electro mechanical system.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and good time management.
• Must become proficient in CAFM Explorer, the Facility Management Software used by the company.
• Must have a positive attitude, the ability to perform under pressure, a systematic approach to work and have the ability to multi task.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
Core Responsibilities:
• Repair and Maintenance:
o Maintains the property in a state of readiness at all times.
o Maintains HVAC, electrical, potable water (reverse osmosis) system, chlorination system, drainage system and all other electromechanical system
o Monitors and ensures completion of all deficiencies noted in CAFM Work Order.
o Oversees and maintains systems including engineering, following preventative maintenance program on daily, weekly and monthly basis with the support of lead man and technicians.
o Request materials and spare parts for the department
o Actively participates in mechanical, electrical repair and maintenance periods.
o Request maintenance materials on timely and effective manner.
• Supervisory:
o Directly supervises the lead mans and technicians.
o Monitors and counsels work performance throughout the year, and conducts annual written performance evaluations.
o Trains all MEP staff and lead man.
• Administrative:
o Keeps maintenance records, and status reports.
o Make proposals for maintenance and repair projects.
o Assist in property the annual budget and manage projects to the established budget.
o Maintains up to date logs for all equipment
Hierarchical Details
• The Maintenance Engineer reports to the Maintenance Manager.
