Osp Supervisor – Riyadh

Description:
• Field Survey Technician. responsible for collecting a variety of field data to support all types of OSP designs/implementation especially in subsurface telecommunications projects.
• Carry out site survey along with the construction team to validate feasibility and update the revised routes.
• Complete building/cabinet surveys for OSP cable survey requirements.
• Complete route surveys for new OSP infrastructure — manholes, cable routes, road/hard surface cuts, HDD, building entries, etc. as required
• Document existing route / modifications for fiber optic cable to determine follow-on testing requirements and reflecting data on drawings.
• Report all OSP issues, plans, quantities, and suggestions etc.
• Coordinate new planned routes with Site manager for Environmental impacts, other base project impacts, contaminated soils, areas to avoid, etc.
• Documents redline changes to engineering drawings.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Technical expertise on OSP construction, cabling, and infrastructure pathway installation projects. Experienced in surveying facilities and developing site specific schematics, Fiber joint schematics, bill of materials, and subsequent construction drawings
• Diploma in quantity surveyor/surveyor or equivalent combination of training, certificates / experience.
• To include 3-5 years of related engineering experience
• OSP Skills and Equipment experience
• Experience with Trimble GPS is a must.
• Experience analyzing base maps/plan drawings, building floor plan diagrams/sketches , engineering drawings, and technical specifications to plan installation activities
• MS Office software, Autocad.
