Job Description:
Degree with Electrical Engineering with min 8 -10 years experience in High Voltage (HV) GIS 115KV or above Substations and well conversant with modification of existing Protection systems and trouble shooting.
The candidate must have exposure to working in firms like ABB, Schneider, Areva etc and candidates working or committed to Government organizations need not apply.
His expertise should include:
• Experience in testing and commissioning of protection relays and control system.
• Design of control and protection schemes for substations and design review .
• Experience in testing and commissioning of electric works, high voltage and medium voltage switchgears.
• Expert in trouble shooting in protection and control schemes, trouble shooting in operating equipments and devices.
• Skill in operation of static and digital relays. Human man interface knowledge to communicate to relays by manual and computer operated software methods to change the operating settings as per system requirements.
• Testing and commissioning of HV equipments like CT, VT, CB and DS.
• Complete testing of control circuit checks, interlocking, alarm, indication and function checks.
• Detailed work on system interface schematics. Design of local and remote control of system. Detailed design on protection schemes. Local and remote indications, alarms and commands interfacing experience. Experience in working on energized substations.
• Experience in preparing probability reports of projects.
• Testing and calibration of measuring instruments like voltmeters, amp meters, power meters, frequency meters, PF meters, and transducers.
Salary: 6000 to 9000/ Saudi Riyals
