Requirements:
* Proven working experience as a logistics & procurement manager, procurement officer or head of procurement
* Talent in negotiations and networking
* Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
* Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
* Experience in collecting and analyzing data
* Strong leadership capabilities
* Record of successful distribution and logistics management
* Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
* Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Responsibilities:
—Logistics
* Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
* Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
* Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
* Arrange warehouse, plan routes and process shipments
* Resolve any arising problems or complaints
* Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
* Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
* Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

* Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
* Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
* Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
* Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
* Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
* Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
* Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
* Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers
* Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
* Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
