Hvac Technician – Dammam

Job Vacancy for HVAC Technician in Facilities and Maintenance Department.
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC Technician with minimum 5 years of
experience in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) to maintain and repair
HVAC systems. The HVAC Technician will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting, repairing systems,
install, maintain and repair indoor air quality systems, such as Chillers, AHU’s (Air Handling
Units) and Split units. The technician who is capable to work day or night shifts.
Roles and responsibilities of Maintenance HVAC Technician.
1. To conduct General, Preventive and Corrective maintenance for all the HVAC
equipment’s.
2. Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and
equipment’s.
3. Cleaning, adjusting and repairing HVAC systems.
4. Troubleshoot breakdowns and repair malfunctioning of HVAC systems and
components, testing instrument in Air Balancing and BMS Control.
5. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
6. Plan shutdowns for maintenance including repair the chilled water pumps, water
balancing and chemical dosing.
7. To refill the chillers gas and split units gas.
8. Ensure availability of all items. Order and maintain parts needed to repair and
maintain HVAC equipment’s.
9. Ensure calibration of thermostats and other controls.
10. Perform checks on motors, belts and handle lubrication duties.
11. Clean or change filters and replace any parts as they wear out in AHU’s.
12. Trouble shoot, repair and maintain the exhaust fans.
13. Respond to emergency situations in order to resolve issues on an immediate basis.
14. Handle maintenance of tools and equipment’s.
15. Replace faulty or expired parts in an HVAC system.
16. Fabricate parts in case parts are not readily available.
17. Determine the need for upgrading HVAC systems and take measures to take
necessary actions.
18. To maintain and record daily, weekly and monthly logs.
19. To report and escalate any discrepancies to the supervisor.
20. To follow all the time health and safety procedures at work.
within KSA only. Transferable valid Iqama is only preferred. Contract type: full time.
