Export Manager – Jeddah

We are offering a Job as ( Export Manager ) to work with ( Cargo campany )
Should be not more than 50 Years old ***
Should be Transferable Iqama***
Job will at Jeddah City***
Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities :-
Pricing :
• Negotiate rates with freight carriers for sea and air shipments
• Negotiate land transportation charges
• Provide agents and customers with rate quotations for sea exports, air exports and household goods/local moves
• Generate DHL Global Forwarding Request for Quote/Bid
Customer Service :
• Inform clients of factors such as shipping options, timelines, transfers, or regulations affecting shipments
• Provide responses to customer queries
• Manage all major client accounts
Route Planning and Logistics Arrangements :
• Research and plan the most appropriate route for air and sea shipments
• Select shipping routes
• Reserve necessary space on ships, aircraft, or trucks
• Consolidate loads with a common destination to reduce costs for individual shippers
• Schedule pre-move survey and packing jobs in coordination with client
• Arrange for pick up and transportation of general cargo in coordination with transportation provider and client
• Monitor daily activity of export shipments
Special Goods :
• Handle special arrangements for transporting dangerous goods, military shipments.
People Management:
• Supervise and direct employee work
• Continuously monitor employee performance and provide ongoing guidance and feedback.
• Conduct bi-annual staff performance reviews
• Carry out and facilitate training of employees
Department Performance :
• Establish departmental and employee goals
• Monitor all Air and Sea shipment exports and local moves
• Monitor and report key performance parameters to ensure department is running as effectively and efficiently as possible
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and enhancing the business
• Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies
• Contribute to developing an effective culture at the organization, upholding company values and staff morale
