Job Description:
Desktop Support Engineer, required for a company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
– Helpdesk Management – be at the core of centralized helpdesk by attending support calls, entering support issues into automated system, assign work orders to available technicians, track work order progress, manage escalation if needed, and closing assigned work orders.
– Support End users (Device configuration, Trouble Shooting IT Hardware and Software Related Issues).
– Coordinate with Service Providers(STC, etc) and Vendors.
– Purchasing Management – Based on technical recommendation provide price quotes, create purchase order, CAPEX and Invoice Payment Form (IPF).
– Maintain Purchasing Documents and Payment Records.
– Inventory Management – All IT Assets irrelevant of location need to be managed either by hardcopy documentation or automated system.
– Must carry on periodic updates to inventory list as an when they are borrowed for use, transferred from one cost center to another or damaged in usage.
– Manage IT assets pool to cater short terms requirements of end users and departments.
