Saudi Company in Saudi Arabia currently has a position for a (Veterinarian) to work in Aramco’s Wildlife Sanctuary as the “Veterinarian” he will be assigned to the following responsibilities:
1.Experience in large-animal treatment with one of either Bovid
(Antelopes), or ratite (large bird) species.
2.Shall remain on site and undertake daily inspections of all newly donated
animals for two days after delivery and identify requirements for, and
provide any inoculations, immunizations, medications and other
veterinary supplies or services, including external laboratory testing to
assist diagnosis, as required to ensure the continuous wellbeing of
animals:
•Oryx
•Sand gazelle
•Ostrich
3.The total number of animals around 220 animal and can be increased to
500 animals.
4.For any newly donated animals to the veterinarian shall administer the
following medications and vaccines:
•Foot and mouth disease (FMD) vaccine
•Peste Des Petits Ruminants (PPR) vaccine
•Enterotoxemia vaccine
•Rabies Vaccine
•Deworming medicine Ivermectin for internal and external parasites
5.Veterinarian shall be onsite to undertake routine observations and
inspections of all released animals *for two days per calendar month*.
emergency and non-routine animal health inspections *three calendar
day per month*, or as instructed by company.
7.Should be flexible to attend within 18 hours for emergency response /
non routine treatments.
8.Fulfill any required tasks within the limits of the scope of work and
capabilities.
