Service Center Team Leader – Saudi Arabia

Who you are ?
– We are seeking to candidate with 5-10 years’ experience and hands on job.
– Good level of safety awareness.
– Self-Starter and Result oriented. Good understanding of operational issues.
– Team player Flair for maintaining relationships and working across different cultures.
– Customer service oriented. Computer literate. Skilled in MS Office. Fluent in written and
spoken English. Arabic is a plus.
– Welding basic competence is a plus.
– Good technical competence in Plate heat exchangers inspection and reconditioning.
– Technical competence in Welded heat exchanger for inspection and repair.
– Excellent ability to write technical reports and communicate with customer.
– Must Have a Diploma in engineering/Bachelor in Engineering or any relevant degree.
Prefer Mechanical Engineering.

Key Task:
Safety:
• Report safety issues and ensure safe working behavior of the team (Stop-Think-Act).
• Lead daily ALPS meetings with focus on Health and Safety in coordination with the service center supervisor & coordinator.
• Lead the team in implementing safety awareness, observation and near miss reporting.
• Active participation in Monthly Safety meetings and drive to sustain and improve the safety culture within the team.
• Ensure use of adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during service execution.
• Execution:
• Plan, coordinate and support the daily work of the team along reconditioning and repair process of plates & welded heat exchanger with Carrying out a high-quality standard of repairs.
• Planning & prioritize the tasks to fulfil timely delivery with available resources.
• Apply & ensure quality control & assurance of job execution.
• Monitor and optimize consumption of consumables & Maintain the stock.
• Ensure the team are using tools and equipment properly.
• Ensure optimized utilization of the team
• Monitor processes and performance in the team & report accordingly.
• Support team members with immediate problem solving.
• Responsible for technical inspections of serviced equipment and & report accordingly with supporting the service coordinator with the required input to generate the reports.
• Advice the service centre supervisor/coordinator about possible repairs and commercial consequences.
• Report job progress using the job card/file tracking system (as well as ALSO when applied).
• To communicate with the labor supplier and organize number of personnel required day to day basis based on the workload in SC with coordination to service center supervisor.
• To plan and maintain the equipment in Service Center and update the records (Calibration, Preventive & Periodic maintenance, etc…)
• To ensure compliance of working hours and rest hours for technicians and contract workers with local labour law and AL working hour policy.
• Preparing job cards for all work carried out and forwarding them to the Service center supervisor on a daily basis.
Responsibility:
Directly responsible for the workshop team performance in job execution, quality, timely deliveries and service reports.
Responsible for the safety compliance in Jubail workshop and create a safe work environment to the team.
Indirectly responsible for the overall Regional Service Operation objectives and growth targets.
