Job Description:
Network Security Specialists, required for a company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Qualification:
– Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences.
Experience:
– 5 years’ experience at Related Position in Large Scale Enterprise or Government Sector.
– Working experience in windows, Linux and UNIX environment is mandatory.
Job Responsibilities:
– Network security specialists have monitor computer networks for security threats or unauthorized users.
– Specialist is responsible for examining malicious software, suspicious network activities, and non-authorized presence in the network to analyze the nature of the threat, and secure and monitor firewall configurations.
– Design, implement, and integrate security solutions to address enterprise risks and exposures.
– Network security specialists also analyze security risks and develop response procedures. Additional duties may include developing and testing software deployment tools, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Process Knowledge:
– TCP/IP, OSI model, network protocols, operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, switches, routers, IPSEC, IDS/IPS, etc.), voice technologies (session border controllers, MPLS, VOIP, etc.), authentication technologies, (TACACS, RADIUS, etc.), wireless architectures, encryption key management, single sign on, antivirus and server management.
