Job Description:
The Mechanic II position is requires someone with experience in heavy duty mechanics to perform the below duties on construction equipment such as the following:
– Diesel Generators, Bobcats, JCBs (Telescopic handlers), Concrete mixture machine, Vibrators, Construction Tools (grinders, drill machines, Jack hammers), Vehicles, Trowel machines, Tower / Mobile Cranes, Cutting and Bending Machines, and Air Compressors.
– Inspect, service and maintain construction equipment including repairing, replacing, and adjusting parts.
– Troubleshoot malfunctions with defected equipment and make required repairs.
– The proper use of equipment and tools used for repairing equipment, such as welding equipment, pneumatic/hydraulic tools and service trucks.
– Prepare work reports and record details on prescribed forms in accordance with established procedures.
– Test equipment after repair.
Requirements:
– Knowledge of construction equipment and materials.
– Familiarity with MS Office and Outlook.
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction-based Mechanic role.
Preferred Education and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in related field.
