General Manager (Aps) – Khoba

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
 At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university. An MBA and/or other relevant Master’s degree is an added asset.
 10 to 15 years of verifiable experience within a recognizable organization within the manufacturing fields, experience in Steel fabrication is preferable.
 Demonstrable leadership, communication and interpersonal skills while being both an analytical and creative thinker.
 In depth knowledge and understanding of management practices within a leading organization. Insight and know how within key areas such as commercial, research & development, information technology, legal and finance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
 Gain an understanding of the overall mission, values, strategies, business goals and objectives of the company and the group presented by the board of directors and shareholders. Contribute significantly to the development of the overall company’s strategy to support and actively ensure the realization of the objectives.
 Support the Chief Executive Officer to Lead and develop a comprehensive strategic business plan.
 Conduct in-depth analysis and assessment of the current products, capabilities and market outlook to create marketing & business development plans to expand and diversify the company’s activities within their industry.
 Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
 Lead and guide multiple disciplines and projects, prioritize issues while managing diversity and develop creative solutions to achieve results.
 Leading and motivating subordinates to advance employee’s engagement developing a high performing managerial team.
 Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
 Collaborate with the group’s affiliates and support in exhibitions, roadshows and overall business development initiatives being executed.
 Build and maintain solid, respectful relationships with clients, showing initiative and loyalty while earning their trust and commitment to your role within one of the entities of a group.
