Junior Buyer
• Ensure all production samples arrive in time for selection through close monitoring of sample progress with suppliers.
• Be involved in selection meetings.
• Raise orders and oversee the production lead times of purchase orders.
• Maintain and update the system & range plan as and when needed.
• Manage the critical path chasing in development samples, carrying out approvals and fits and dealing with any queries, to ensure shipment dates are kept.
• Oversee the management and preparation of samples and information for our future Ecom platform, meetings and visual merchandising, to ensure all requirements are satisfied.
• Sales and inventory daily analyses.
• Input into cross functional activity (retail operations, visual merchandising, ecom, warehouse).
• Input into the department product strategy, producing supplier, competitor & product information as required.
• Availability to travel (supplier, trade fairs, and factory visits).

• Understanding of product construction and development.
• Technical knowledge.
• Good understanding of customer profile, product range & competitors.
• Commercial and market awareness.
• Knowledge of the Supply chain & product life cycle.
