Job Title: Quality Control Chemist
About our factory:
It’s a wet wipes factory. We produce wet wipes for adults and kids. The production line includes water treatment and then mixing the solutions (sterilized and solvent) and the fragrance before start producing.
Our requirements:
Ability to utilize chemistry lab skills to test and measure materials, generally in a manufacturing field. Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for daily laboratory testing of raw materials, in process and finished goods. Ensuring that experiments are completed according to established Standard Operating Practices (SOP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Job Duties:
• Preparing and test samples from all phases of a manufacturing or other handling process, with the goal of determining if the substance meets the standards or requirements of the project.
• Employ a variety of methods that can vary from industry to industry but generally require basic lab-work skills and thorough understanding of chemical testing equipment and processes.
• prepare documents that report the results of their lab work. They may also be responsible for minor equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to analyze the water to make it pure before mixing with the solutions and the fragrance.
• QC chemists have a role in preserving workplace safety and safe materials handling as appropriate, since they sometimes work with hazardous materials.
Work Schedule:
Full Time, 9 hrs. a day, 6 days a week. Overtime if it requires
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
Experience:
At least 5 years’ experience in laboratory field as described in the requirement and job duties for engineers and 2 years for regular chemist. Ability to understand the ingredients of the materials and develop it.
