Automotive Technical Trainer Cum Mechanical Foreman – Jedda

ROLE SUMMARY
The main purpose of this position is to perform maintenance and repair activities on vehicles as instructed by the foreman, ensuring abidance by set safety standards and instructions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Performs vehicle inspection, as per planned preventive maintenance schedule and foreman instructions, listing related findings on the checklist.
• Changes oil, filters, and water of vehicles and performs other maintenance related repairs.
• Replaces spare parts as per checklist and as instructed by the Automotive Maintenance Senior Technicians and Automotive Maintenance Foreman.
• Properly handles all tools, equipment’s and resources while performing assigned tasks.
• Replaces spare parts as per corrective maintenance activities and needs, as instructed by the superiors.
• Requests spare part as per foreman approval.
• Performs necessary repairs and replaces and installs spare parts further to vehicle breakdowns, as per work order and detected malfunctions, providing feedback to the foreman.
• Inspects breakdowns and malfunctions, providing recommendations on needed repairs to the Foreman.
• Performs repairs on the operations field, as per request.
• Reports detected abuse on the vehicle to the foreman.
• Properly handles all tools, equipment’s and resources while performing assigned tasks.
• Performs welding, painting and denting activities on vehicle cabin and superstructure.
• Performs vehicle chassis alignment.
• Properly handles all tools, equipment’s and resources while performing assigned tasks.
• Performs assigned tasks in compliance with the set safety and health standards.
• Closely supervises and follows up on maintenance and repair activities
• Supervises laborers activities, ensuring the proper execution of the assigned task.
• Ensures that tools and equipment are being properly used by laborers, reporting accidental or abused damage.
• Ensures that all activities are carried out in compliance with the set safety, health and hygiene regulation.
• Responsible for exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self & others in the organization.
• Responsible to comply with the applicable health & safety procedures, instructions, requirements, laws, regulations from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies
• Responsible for reporting to his superiors’ occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect health, safety and company reputation
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of Technical Diploma
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field
