We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong focus on core bookkeeping, financial data analysis, and software proficiency. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting workflows in Zoho Books, perform bank reconciliations, ensure ZATCA/VAT compliance, and utilize Advanced Excel to analyze transactional data and generate accurate financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & ERP Management: Perform day-to-day transaction entries, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), inventory costing, and ledger maintenance within Zoho Books.
Financial Analysis & Reporting: Structure, clean, and analyze transactional data using Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, custom reporting formulas) to track cash flow and operational expenses.
Reconciliations: Execute monthly bank reconciliations, payment gateway statements, merchant balances, and vendor accounts.
Tax & Compliance: Prepare accurate VAT returns and ensure full alignment with Saudi Arabian ZATCA electronic invoicing and tax regulations.
Audit Preparation: Maintain complete, organized digital audit trails and financial documentation for month-end and year-end closures.
Requirements & Qualifications
Saudi Arabia Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on accounting experience strictly within Saudi Arabia.
ERP Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of Zoho Books (setup, workflows, inventory modules, and automated reporting).
Data Analysis Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of KSA tax laws, ZATCA e-invoicing phases, and Saudi SOCPA/IFRS accounting standards.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Languages: Business proficiency in English and arabic is a plus
