A world leader in the pharmaceutical industry based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is actively recruiting for a Senior Medical Manager
Specialty Care Products. This client has the ability and reputation for being able to attract and retain the very best talent on the market, so competition for this opportunity will be high.
Key aspects of the role include:
– Provides leadership to the in-country Medical Affairs Team he/she is leading aligned with the strategies, business goals and customer needs.
– Participates in Strategic Planning Process to provide insight, expertise and medical support to the business.
– Ensures processes and procedures within medical are continuously reviewed and updated to meet current and future business needs.
– Leads, motivates and enhances the performance of the Medical Affairs Team through coaching and by direct example.
– Represents the immediate point of reference to the Country Manager for medical issues, advises the Country Manager on medical issues and assures appropriate resolution.
Requirements:
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
– Medical Doctor/ Doctor of Pharmacy with solid education and experience.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially Medical Affairs and / or Clinical Research.
– Managing a team of MSLs.
– Profound knowledge of relevant international Codes of Practice, guidelines and regulations.
– Comprehensive knowledge of Pharmacovigilance and regulatory legislation and the drug development process and how these aspects impact the product portfolio.
