Job Description:
Project Cost Controller, required for a company in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
– Iqama Transferable Required.
Main Purpose of Position:
– To safely provide financial and technical support to the Project Manager in delivering successful projects or integrated solutions to time, scope and cost in an environmentally friendly way.
– Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
– At least 5-10 years in Project Management with wide experience in Saudi Aramco, Ma’aden and SABIC projects.
Assist the programme Manager with project information, communication and activity relating to the scope including aspects such as:
– Project budgets.
– Cost reporting.
– Collation / analysis of spending.
– Identify and influence any change to the project ensuring the Project Manager is notified of the event and information which will successful project delivery is prepared.
– Assist in the elimination of scope creep by working with the projects teams to identify requirements for VARIATION Orders and assist in the comprehensive completion and tracking of the Variation Orders.
– Assist in preparation of client status reports. Compile reports in a timely manner.
– Assist in development of project budgets at the start of each project and monitor progress against actual.
– Provide prompt and accurate information to the Project Manager in order to facilitate invoicing and cash recovery against the predetermined contract terms.
– Track the receipt, and assist in approval of the project related supplier invoices to capture any cost plus items.
– Assist in the preparation of Project Status Reports, recommendation / action improvement plan / remedial activity as necessary.
– Advanced level of knowledge of MS Project software. Primavera software knowledge desirable.
– Proficiently in all programs necessary to perform the everyday duties of this position.
– Proficiency in MS Office products is required.
