QUALIFICATIONS OF KEY PERSONNEL
1. Project Manager – Shall have a Bachelor of Science in engineering from a recognized
university. He shall have a minimum of 11 fteen (15) years experience in building
construction. In addition, he shall have a minimum of ten (10) years supervisory
experience; at least five (5) years of which have been as a project manager, and previous experience in the GCC. The candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English.
2. Construction Manager – Shall have a Bachelor of Science in engineering from a
recognized university and at least ten (10) years experience in building construction. He shall have a minimum of eight (8) years supervisory experience of which at least five (5) years shall have been as construction manager. He shall have previous experience in the GCC. The candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English.
3. Quality Control Manager – Shall have a Bachelor of Science in engineering from a
recognized university and at least ten (10) years experience in Quality Control. He shall have a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience. He shall have previous experience in the GCC. The candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English.
4. Procurement Manager – Shall have a minimum often (10) years experience in material
procurement/expediting with at least six (6) years as senior purchaser. He shall have
previous experience in the GCC. The candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken
English.
5. Superintendent – Civil/Structural Works – Shall have a Bachelor of Science in civil
engineering from a recognized university and at least eight (8) years experience in
building construction and relevant site infrastructure development. Fie should have a
minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in the construction sector and be
“Computer/AutoCAD literate”. He shall have previous experience in the GCC. The
candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English.
6. Superintendent – Electrical/Telecommunication Works – Shall have a Bachelor of
Science in electrical engineering from a recognized university and at least eight (8) years experience in the design and construction of electrical works that is directly related to relevant site infrastructure development and building construction. He should have a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in the construction sector and be “Computer/AutoCAD literate”. He shall have previous experience in the GCC. The candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English.
7. Superintendent – Mechanical, Piping Systems and HVAC Works – Shall have a Bachelor
of Science in mechanical engineering from a recognized university and at least eight (8) years extensive experience in the design and construction of plumbing, HVAC and
relevant site utilities that is directly related to building construction. He should have a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in the construction sector and be
“Computer/AutoCAD literate”. He shall have previous experience in the GCC. The
candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English.
8. Planning and Scheduling Engineer – Shall have a Bachelor of Science in engineering
from a recognized university and at least eight (8) years experience in on-site construction work and five (5) years as project planner on projects of comparable or
larger size/complexity. Must have Primavera (P6) software expertise. He shall be fluent in written and spoken English. He shall have previous experience in the GCC.
9. Document Control Supervisor – Shall have a relevant Bachelor’s degree from a
recognized university and at least five (5) years experience in similar document control work to the Royal Commission contracts. Must be computer literate, Info-Works, E-DOX and Primavera. The candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English. He shall have relevant previous experience in the civil environment with a general knowledge of project engineering and construction.
10. Environmental, Safety and Health Manager – Shall have a minimum of eight (8) years
experience in construction, five (5) years of which must have been as a safety
representative on construction sites within the MENA region. The candidate shall be
fluent in written and spoken English as well as computer literate and hold a Saudi
National driving license. The candidate after Contract award must pass an ES&H;
Manager competency test with a minimum pass mark of 65%, and may also be subject to a personal interview with Royal Commission Construction [ES&H;] Department for evaluation prior to confirmation and approval.
11. Environmental, Safety and Health Officer – Shall have at minimum of five (5) years
experience in construction, three (3) years of which must have been as a safety
representative on construction sites within the MENA region. The candidate shall be
fluent in spoken English. The candidate after Contract award must pass an ES&H; Officer competency test with a minimum pass mark of 60% and may also be subject to a personal interview with Royal Commission Construction [ES&H;] Department for evaluation prior to confirmation and approval.
12. Site Nurse – Shall have a current, in-date valid qualification, be licensed in accordance with Ministerial Decision 404 with a minimum of a diploma in nursing issued by a recognized medical body acceptable to the Royal Commission and with a minimum of five (5) years experience in practical medical treatment. In addition, shall have a current, in-date valid first aider, basic life support or cardio-pulmonary resuscitation certificate issued by a recognized medical body acceptable to the Royal Commission. The candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English with the ability to keep a daily medical logbook. The candidate after Contract award will be subject to a personal interview with Royal Commission Construction [ES&H;] Department for evaluation prior to confirmation and approval.
