Job Description:
Land Surveyor, required for KS Bureau in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
– Draws and updates maps.
– Interprets and reduces survey field notes.
– Maintains files and records.
– Stakes and measures control points.
– Operates manual and power tools to obtain data.
– Locates and identifies property corners.
– Operates survey instruments to obtain field data.
– Obtains measurements by locating lines and points and maintains files.
– Collects survey information and prepares field notes.
– Reads the level rod to establish elevations.
– Prepares and maintains inventory of equipment and materials.
– Calculates slopes, curve data, and grade changes.
– Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements:
– At least Two (2) years of land surveying experience.
– Two (2) years of land surveying experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
– Knowledge of land surveying principles and practices.
– Knowledge of survey instruments and equipment.
– Knowledge of basic math as applied to survey work.
– Skill in utilizing a personal computer and associated software programs.
– Ability to operate survey instruments.
– Ability to perform survey computations.
– Ability to prepare field notes.
– Ability to handle all physical requirements of the position.
– Ability to speak Arabic is preferred.
