Job Description:
A well-established company is seeking a Mechanical Workshop Supervisor with solid experience in oil & gas and steel structural fabrication. The ideal candidate will oversee workshop operations, ensuring quality, productivity, and compliance with safety and project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily workshop activities including fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings accurately.
• Ensure timely execution of jobs as per project specifications.
• Manage and allocate tasks to workshop staff efficiently.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all operations.
• Perform quality checks and ensure all work complies with industry standards.
• Coordinate with planning and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 5-8 years of supervisory experience in the GCC.
• Strong background in oil & gas and structural steel fabrication projects.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical and structural drawings.
• Familiarity with welding techniques, codes, and fabrication practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Local transfer candidates are preferable.
