Accountant Required – Jedda

Our company is offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant who will be in charge to provide timely, accurate, relevant & value-adding accounting, and financial information. This role will also ensure that financial processes and controls are in place for business units and that correct business practices are followed.

– Conducting investigations on irregularities and errors
– Drafting recommendations on corrective measures
– Preferred Male Candidates
– Speak and understand Arabic language
Your responsibilities will be to:
– Perform full set of accounting such as:
AP, AR, posting of incoming invoices, petty cash and employee payment including inter-company and bank reconciliation and cheque payments
– Recording, classifying, and summarizing daily financial transactions in ERP system
– Maintaining the ERP system and ensuring integrity of all financial information
– Preparing and processing of standard monthly journals
– Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
– Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
– Provide accounting support to non-finance departments (e.g. Sales)
– Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovate solutions so that the team can operate in an efficient and cost effective manner
– Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
– Assist and cooperate in the periodic audit both internal and external and respond in a timely manner to any audit queries
– Ensuring appropriate continuous financial control in compliance with VAT regulation
– Managing, filing and payment of VAT, Zakat and other associated tax issues to the competent authorities
– Maintain and follow up of Absher, MOL Website, MUQEEM, NETEQAT, Medical Insurance, GOSI and GAZT
– Reporting to the owner and the owners appointed members
– Highly motivated
– Ability to work individually and in a team.
– Strong written and oral communication skills
– Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to negotiate and solve problems
Your package:
– 2500 ~ 3000 riyals per month including all allowances. Accommodation will be available if needed
– Yearly iqama renewal, MOL, medical insurance, etc,
