Shipping Assistant – Saudi Arabia

Job Title: Shipping Assistant Department: Warehouse & Logistics

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Location: Riyadh

Basic Function:

• Supervises crew of eight warehouse helpers and forklift operators in loading, storing and loading goods or equipment, under direction of shipping supervisor.

Major duties and responsibilities:

• Assists in supervising unloading of incoming goods, counts quantities, and enters on receiving tally sheets. Inspects goods for obvious damage to cartons or content.

• Assists in supervising placement of goods in warehouse. Rearranges stock to make space for new goods as necessary. Ensures that goods are stored in correct location and are readily accessible for picking.

• Assists in supervising selection of outbound goods. Counts outbound goods, records on delivery sheets. Inspects outbound goods for damage.

• Assists in supervising loading of goods on delivery trucks and trucks deployment to the market

• Participates in physical stock take.

• Other functions as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor or Managers

Qualifications & Experience:

• 2 to 3 years’ experience.

• Graduate Preferably Commerce

• Computer Literacy: MS Office specially Excel

• Computer ERP expertise will be added benefit

• Good English/Arabic

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary will be SR 3,000 plus company provided accommodation & transportation.

• 30 Days annual leaves with Air Tickets.
