Technical Sales Engineer
Job Description:
• Assisting to co-ordinate the project enquiries (with H.I & G.H)
• Reviews rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from client
• Studying the project enquiry by checking technical drawings to formulate a concise overview of the project for presentation to Design Dept (for final decision to accept or decline project)
• Liasing within Sales Dept to search for new clients
• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
• Tenders: studying of tender documentation
• Travelling to visit potential clients
• Interpreting customer requirements
• Advising clients which product or service will best satisfy their needs
• Liasing with the Design/Technical Dept
• Calculating preliminary costings and client quotations for checking by A.A & R.A
• Offering after-sales support services
• Making technical presentations to client during the preliminary meetings to present proposal to best suit client’s needs
• Site inspection (taking pictures for technical records)
• Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Requirements:
• Preferable to have background in furniture design within the hospitality industry
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Experience of using CAD packages essential
• Good business sense & team working ability
• The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in speaking and writing in Arabic and English
