Mechanical Technician (Rotating/Static) – Eastern Province

FOR ROTATING TECHNICIAN;
Have knowledge and working experience on equipment and machinery that have rotating parts, such as turbines, pumps, ventilators, centrifuges, engines and gearboxes.
Assemble machines according to instructions and specifications.
Read and comprehend standard blueprints, machine engineering drawings.
Identify, report and repair equipment damage and malfunctions; communicate with supervisor to obtain repair and replacement components.
Repair rotating equipment and replace defective components, parts and systems when necessary, using hand and power tools.
Fasten components together according to blueprints and technical plans in order to create subassemblies or finished products.
Read the technical drawings.
FOR STATIC TECHNICIANS;

Knowledge and skills to do maintenance of static equipment such as exchangers, columns, valves, pipelines, vessels,grading,Structure Fabrication etc
Ability to read Isometric piping drawings and equipment drawings
Should be familiar with different type of alignments related to rotating equipment
Carryout day to day plant maintenance work independently
Understands and apply plant safety standards procedure.
Knowledge of materials commonly used in the plant such as Pipes, valves, gaskets & Pipe fittings
Ability to operate hand grinding machine, power hacksaw machine
To carryout basic condition monitoring checks on machinery and notifies any malfunctions or defects to the Supervisor.
