A newly established FMCG company is looking for an experienced Accountant for our Al Khobar based office to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting.
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts & management.
• Payroll processing.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information & by auditing documents.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Prepare tax audits and tax returns. Overseeing all tax and regulatory/compliance issues.
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Maintains accounting controls & strengthen internal controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Leadership Skills
• Managing all finance and accounting operations.
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
• Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting.
• Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
• Advanced degree in Accounting.
• ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred
