Senior Ibm Cloud Private Administrator – Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose:

• Design, install, configure and unit test business, technical requirements using up-to-date IBM technologies and best practices for IBM Cloud Private (ICP).

Scope of Work:

1. Installation and configuration of IBM Cloud Private (ICP).

2. Configure security, LDAP, role based authentication/authorization using external user registry

3. Monitor, tuning and troubleshooting IBM Cloud Private issues

4. Configure SSL/TLS connections

5. Managing the deployment of pods and helm charts

6. Install ICP updates as needed

7. Create Helm charts as needed

8. Work with IBM support for problem resolution

9. Should be involved in working with IBM support and COE teams to improve the current state and play a key role in future enhancements.

11. Should have excellent communication skills and continuously work with senior managers, come up with new strategies, come up with quick solutions.

12. Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals and effectively manage projects in a cross-functional environment.

Working and Skill Requirements:

• Education:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

• Trainings:

– Training and certifications in system administration is preferred.

• Experience:

– Strong Knowledge in Web Security, Unix Commands, and Shell Scripts

– Strong Knowledge in Container technology (Docker & Kubernetes & Openshift)

– Experience in Cloud Native related technology: Helm/Tiller, ELK, Prometheus, Mongodb, etc and OpenSource contributor is big plus

– Strong knowledge in system administration and Linux administration

– Strong knowledge in Micro services, CICD, and DevOps technology concepts.

– Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to mentor other team members on this.

– Must have very good analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Candidate should be flexible to work in occasional late hours during critical FC executions.
