Qualifications/ Skills:
• General knowledge of the materials and methods used in preparing meats, breads and other foods on a large scale.
• General knowledge of the use and care of utensils and equipment.
• General knowledge of food values and nutrition.
• Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.
• Following recipes and creating new ones.
• Knowledge of choosing fresh quality food
• Knowledge of preparation, storage, sanitation, hygiene and equipment safety.
• Has knowledge and experience in healthy cooking and has a nutrition background
• Expert in Healthy and International Cuisine
• Good conversational skill in English
• Has certification from a culinary school or Equivalent
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan menus according to employers’ needs and diet restrictions. Keeps up with nutritional information.
• Purchase ingredients, materials, supplies, and/or equipment.
• Peel, wash, trim, cook food, and bake breads and pastries.
• Prepare meals in private homes according to employers’ recipes or tastes, handling all meals for the family and household staff.
• Store and organize supplies and goods in kitchens and storage areas.
• Manage kitchen cleanliness
• Preparing nutritious fancy dishes and snacks.
• Create and explore new cuisines, recipes and food presentations.
• Plan and prepare menu for parties, and other social events.
• Create and use fresh ingredients in cooking instead of processed food.
• Meet high standards of health and hygiene, such as storing and cleaning food.
• Direct the operation and organization of kitchen and all food-related activities
