Job Purpose:
• Design, Develop and unit test business, technical requirements using up-to-date IBM technologies and best practices.
Scope of Work:
1. IBM ODM Development
2. Leads and has direct responsibility for one or more technology projects.
3. Work with multiple project delivery teams – responsible for process design, development and improvement.
4. Completes the delivery of design, code or testing for modules or multiple functions related to IS development initiatives.
5. Prepares requirement definition, design and technical specifications.
6. Provides coding, testing and implementation support for identified technical platform (i.e., Mainframe, Mid-range, Distributed or Web).
7. Analyzes user requirements, and defines technical project scope and assumptions for assigned tasks.
8. Creates business and/or technical designs for new systems, and/or modifications to existing systems.
9. Translates detailed requirements into functional system designs.
10. Experience with Agile methodology and working in Agile teams.
Working and Skill Requirements:
• Education:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Trainings:
– Training and certifications in Software Development is preferred.
• Experience:
– Graduation from a 4-year college or university in Computer science.
– A minimum of 5 years’ experience, with background in below skills, 5 years of professional experience as a software developer / programmer analyst in depth knowledge of
– Skills:
– Micro services: Spring Boot, NodeJs,
– Persistent Layer: SQL Server, DB2, Oracle DB
– Rules & Business process: IBM BPM, IBM ODM
– Test Framework: Jest, Enzyme, Selinium
– DevOps: DockerDataCenter, REST
– Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD, OOP) and Design Patterns.
– Database Development experience.
– Experience implementing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) a plus.
– Experience with Scrum and Agile Methodology a plus.
– Have good understanding SOAP/REST services.
