We are looking for an “Instrument & Control Engineer with 3–5 years of relevant experience” in industrial automation, instrumentation, control systems, programming, commissioning, and maintenance.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering field.
3–4 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation & Control / Automation.
SCE registration with a valid membership will be an advantage.
Hands-on experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, logic modification, and software configuration.
Experience in developing, modifying, testing, and implementing PLC control logic, interlocks, sequences, permissive, timers, alarms, and Cause & Effect logic.
Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, control panels, and field instrumentation.
Experience with Fire & Gas Controllers, control panels, and field instrumentation.
Experience in logic modification and software changes during commissioning and troubleshooting, including online/offline testing where applicable.
Experience with PLC programming platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Honeywell, Det-tronics, Notifier, Simplex, or similar systems will be an advantage.
Experience in instrument calibration, loop checking, functional testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, control schematics, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, Cause & Effect diagrams, and control narratives.
Experience in **FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, and project handover documentation.
Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols and control system networking.
Knowledge of relevant IEC, NFPA, and industrial standards will be an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
Industrial / petrochemical experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia, will be an advantage.
