We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer with strong expertise in tendering and estimation within the Saudi Arabian construction industry. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, prequalification documents, and managing the complete tendering process for public and private sector projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates based on project drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Review tender documents, technical specifications, and contract requirements.
Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Develop comprehensive Technical and Commercial Proposals for tender submissions.
Prepare technical documents for client prequalification and vendor registration.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to obtain pricing and technical information.
Analyze project risks, costs, and commercial requirements.
Ensure timely submission of tenders while meeting client and company standards.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
Maintain tender documentation and estimation records.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
7–10 years of experience in estimation and tendering within Saudi Arabia.
Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian tendering procedures and industry standards.
Proven experience in:
BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs
Technical proposal preparation
Commercial proposal preparation
Client and vendor prequalification documentation
Tender evaluation and bid submission
Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict tender deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid Saudi Driving License (preferred).
Experience with government, Aramco, SABIC, Royal Commission, or other major industrial projects will be an advantage.
Familiarity with procurement processes and contract administration is a plus.
