Job Summary
The QA/QC Supervisor at Al Rwad Al Mohtarifeen specifically for Aramco projects, is responsible for supervising and ensuring the implementation of quality assurance and quality control procedures on-site. This role requires close monitoring of construction activities to ensure they meet Aramco’s stringent quality standards and specifications. Key duties include supervising inspections, reviewing quality documentation, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring compliance with project quality requirements. The QA/QC Supervisor will also be responsible for identifying and addressing quality issues, conducting audits, and reporting on quality performance. Aramco approval and significant experience in quality control within the oil and gas industry are mandatory.
Roles and Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor on-site quality control processes to ensure compliance with Aramco’s quality standards and project specifications.
Conduct and oversee regular inspections of construction activities, materials, and equipment to ensure they meet required quality levels.
Review and ensure the accuracy of quality documentation, including inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality reports.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
Ensure that non-conformities are identified, documented, and corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
Liaise with Aramco quality representatives to ensure alignment with project quality requirements and expectations.
Assist in the preparation and submission of quality reports to project management and clients.
Conduct internal audits to ensure the effectiveness of the QA/QC management system and compliance with Aramco standards.
Provide guidance and training to on-site personnel on quality control procedures and standards.
Monitor and report on the overall quality performance of the project, ensuring continuous improvement.
Mandatory Requirements
Aramco approval as a QA/QC Supervisor is mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in quality control within the oil and gas industry, particularly on Aramco projects.
Strong understanding of quality management systems, construction quality standards, and Aramco’s specific quality requirements.
Experience in supervising quality control activities on large-scale construction projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Proficiency in quality management tools and software.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Willingness to be based on-site and travel to various project locations as needed.
