Job Description:

• Leads and performs preliminary and detailed facility audits (ASHRAE Level I, II & III) to qualify, identify and quantify simple to complex ECMs and opportunities.
• Leads in the development of energy calculations, reports and contract exhibits; develop proposal and technical review.
• Develops design concepts and other written documentation to sales, management and National Operations concerning recommended ECMs, including accurate descriptions, savings potential, cost estimates and back up data to verify ECMs.
• Applies building energy simulation programs using eques, HAP, TRACE, Energy Plus etc. or MS Excel spreadsheet calculations to determine project energy and operational savings.
• Performs utility bill analysis to determine applicable baseline consumption data and rates as well as identify possible utility supply side opportunities.
• Develops standalone energy service projects and/or LEED sustainable solutions.
• Manage and Lead the Energy Audit team and Implementation Project team.
• Participates as a team member & leads the project development team to develop energy savings and performance contracting projects.
• Effectively develop Project scopes of work and manage consulting engineers performing ASHRAE Levels 1,2&3 building audits (PA, DFS, IGA).
• Attend all meetings with the clients and Consultant/subcontractors for Technical and commercial subjects.
• Prepares projects, Commercial and Technical reports, and action plans/work progress reports.
• Provides technical analysis/review for energy projects, assessing project risk.
• Investigate new technologies.
• Manage and analyze the supplier/vendor/contractors’ pre-qualification for the best project selection and cost-effectiveness.
• Trains and supports newly assigned engineers.
• Other duties as assigned by the appropriate department manager.
• Developing strategies that are inventive and cost-effective for department and projects.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers/vendors/Contractors.
• Negotiating with suppliers/vendors/Subcontractors to secure advantageous terms.
• Engage with the solution providers to get the best Technical and optimized commercial proposal.
• Responsible for reviewing contract documents for Technical/commercial part and conducting job surveys.
• Reviewing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Controls the project budget and promotes a culture of long-term saving on Projects cost/Budgets.
• Support in maintenance services and measurement and verification activities before and after the project execution and during the performance period.
• CEM/CEA/CMVP are desirable
